I like to make things! On this page you’ll find some of my past creations as well as projects that I’m currently working on!

Or, The Woman Covered in Jewels

For the past couples years, my collaborators Kelleen Moriarty, Aoife Hough, and I have been working on a devised piece based on a lost and unfinished work by Oscar Wilde called La Sainte Courtisane. It’s a strange tale of a courtesan and a hermit in the desert of Alexandria, and we’re so excited to continue to develop our version of it. In Summer 2024, we had the pleasure of developing a first draft of the piece at Dartmouth College’s VoxLab, and in Fall 2024 we were invited to present a snippet of that draft at Harpo’s Salon hosted by The Assembly. This spring we are holding a workshop to continue growing the piece, and are hoping to present a second draft by the end of 2025.

Past Projects

Senior Thesis: Asynchronous Mission #6

For my undergraduate thesis I gathered together five friends to devise a piece over Zoom. What resulted was a piece about bugs and modern romance. You can see some screenshots and a short segment of the play on this page, and if you’ve got some time to kill, you can watch the whole piece here.

Collaborators:
Isabel Wallace, Piper Hill, Alisya Reza, Matt Haughey, Holden Harris

Dance Theater (and stop motion and projection design)

Dance has always been an important part of my life, and recently I’ve enjoyed experimenting with movement-based creations. First is my final for Dance Composition taught by John Heginbotham and Rebecca Stenn. This was also my first adventure in stop motion, which I really enjoyed and have continued to play with. The second video is my final for my independent study in projection design and dance composition. Again this was my first adventure in projection, and I’m excited to use my basic grasp of Isadora for future creative projects.

Lighting Design

After taking Lighting Design my senior year (taught by Professor Dan Kotlowitz over zoom), I got to design the winning show for Dartmouth’s student-written play festival.

The photos below are by Rob Strong, and. theactors are Rothschild Toussaint and Esther Oluokun.

Songs and Sound Art!

Here you’ll find my first experiments with composing, found sound, and Ableton, created my senior year in Sonic Arts with Professor Ash Fure and Emerging Musical Theater with César Alvarez. In my theater practice, I’m very interested in the incorporation of sound and soundscapes (especially those created collaboratively) as a mode of storytelling and world building.
